These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Genesis Security Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
Genesis Security Labs provides cybersecurity consulting, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, application security testing, and related advisory services. All engagements are governed by a separate written agreement or statement of work ("SOW") executed between Genesis Security Labs and the client. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and an executed SOW, the SOW controls.
2. Authorized Testing
All security testing performed by Genesis Security Labs is conducted only with explicit written authorization from the client and, where applicable, from the owners of any third-party systems in scope. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal authority to authorize testing on all systems included in the agreed scope. Genesis Security Labs will not perform testing outside the authorized scope.
3. Confidentiality
Genesis Security Labs treats all client information, findings, and deliverables as strictly confidential. We will not disclose client information to third parties without prior written consent, except as required by law. Clients agree to treat any proprietary methodologies, tools, or processes shared by Genesis Security Labs as confidential.
4. Deliverables and Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, clients receive a license to use deliverables (reports, findings, recommendations) for their internal business purposes. Genesis Security Labs retains ownership of all methodologies, tools, frameworks, and general knowledge developed in connection with services. Deliverables may not be resold or redistributed without written permission.
5. Payment
Payment terms are specified in each SOW or engagement agreement. Genesis Security Labs reserves the right to pause or suspend services for accounts with outstanding balances. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Limitation of Liability
Genesis Security Labs performs security testing and advisory services with professional care and diligence. However, no security assessment can guarantee the identification of all vulnerabilities. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Acceptable Use of This Website
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or to interfere with the operation of this website. Automated scraping, crawling, or data harvesting without prior written consent is prohibited.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Genesis Security Labs is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
